AWARD-WINNING
TATTOO ARTIST

Chelsea Winter Burr
Chelsea Winter Burr is a multiple award-winning tattoo artist and graphic designer serving Ocala, Belleview, and the greater Central Florida. With a lifelong background in art and design, Chelsea brings technical skill, creativity, and more than a decade of professional art experience to every custom tattoo she creates. Chelsea joined the Tattoo Gallery of Ocala family in September 2023, and currently resides at the sister location Stranger Flowers Yet in Belleview, Florida.

Chelsea graduated from the University of South Florida in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Art. Her artistic background spans traditional and digital media, including charcoal, colored pencil, ink, acrylic paint, and graphic design. She is also Adobe-certified in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Animate. Before beginning her tattoo career, Chelsea was already an award-winning graphic artist, earning honors including two FNAME Silver Awards, Best of Show at the South Florida Fair, and additional awards throughout her artistic career.

Her background in fine art and graphic design is integral to her approach to tattooing. Years of experience in drawing, illustration, composition, color theory, and digital design allow Chelsea to take a client's ideas and develop them into custom tattoo designs tailored to the individual and their body.

Since entering the tattoo industry, Chelsea has become an award-winning tattoo artist, earning recognition across numerous tattoo categories. Her most recent awards include multiple placements at Spooky Empire Orlando, where she earned 1st place in Black & Gray, 2nd place in small Black & Gray, and 3rd place in Arm Sleeve in 2026. Her work and career have also taken her beyond Central Florida, including guest spots in New York City and a previous residency as a guest artist at Inked NYC, later known as Club Tattoo NYC.

Chelsea works in both black and gray and in full color. She specializes in customized pieces focused on illustration, realism, and portraiture. She especially enjoys designs that blend realistic elements with an illustrative or creative approach, giving each tattoo its own personality. From meaningful memorial pieces and portraits to pop culture, animals, and imaginative concepts, Chelsea approaches each project as an opportunity to create something original for the person wearing it.

Chelsea values the connection between the artwork and the person receiving it. Tattooing lets her not only create permanent art but also meet people, hear their stories, and turn their ideas and experiences into something they can carry.
